Emergency Management Community

In the event of a severe public health emergency, one of the many critical factors in preserving and protecting public health will be continued access to essential medicines—for treatment of injury or illness caused by the event, as well as continued supply of essential day-to-day medicines to patients for the duration of the emergency.

A basic situation report will be updated here during activation of Rx Response.  State ESF-8 Public Health and Medical coordinators may request member access to request product by sending an email to admin@rxresponse.org. Please provide an email address, telephone number where you can be reached, and your agency affiliation.

Announcements
ARC Providing Safe and Well Information - The American Red Cross Safe and Well Website provides a way for those affected by a disaster to register themselves as “safe and well.” Users can select standard messages from a list to communicate their status to family members.

Concerned family and friends can search the list of those who have registered themselves as “safe and well.” The results of a successful search will display a loved one’s First Name, Last Name, an “As of Date”, and the “safe and well” messages selected.
